Along with half-fae siblings Camille (polyandrous witch and bookstore owner) and Delilah (werecat private investigator) and an ever-growing contingent of allies, lovers, and members of the Otherworld Intelligence Agency, Menolly strives to prevent advances by the demon Shadow Wing while investigating an incursion of deadly ghosts, magical energy drains, and a missing OIA agent. Galenorn’s mix of magic, mythology, and steamy romance is surprisingly accessible to new readers, thanks to a glossary and well-integrated references to past events, and returning fans will especially appreciate developments in Menolly’s complex relationships with Nerissa and Roman.
