In the latest installment of the Manor House Mysteries, Grace Wheaton is on her way for DNA testing to determine if her boss at Marshfield Manor, Bennett, is actually her uncle, when she is waylaid by an FBI agent asking her questions about her ex-fiance, Eric. Later, the agent, who turns out to be an impostor, is found dead in a neighbor's yard. Meanwhile, Grace's sister, Liza, arrives at Marshfield. Liza, who ran through her half of the sisters' inheritance, now wants Grace to take her in. Is it merely a coincidence that Liza has returned just as Grace could become the heir to the manor? And what of Bennett's strange behavior?
