Thompson's third Brides with Style novel, following Every Girl Gets Confused (2015), finds Katie Fisher engaged to her dream man, Brady James, and ready to have the wedding she's been planning since she was a little girl. Any reader who's been a bride or longed for that very special day will relate to Katie's joys and fears as she tries to make sure everything is wonderful for her and Brady. But her relatives and neighbors friends are fullof their own ideas about the way to organize the wedding, and Katie must learn to stand strong and stick true to her vision while embracing the kind intent behind those pushy suggestions. Her road to the altar may be straight and narrow, but Katie's path is definitely full of surprises. Readers will appreciate the heart and humor abundant on each page of Thompson's novel, and they'll relate to Katie's effort to balance her own desires with the wish to please those she loves.
