When successful attorney Grace Foster succumbs to curiosity and heads for rural West Texas in answer to an atypical plea for help from corporate oil mogul Michael Delacourt, the successful but driven man she had once loved, she finds him with two runaway boys on his hands and not a clue as to how to proceed. Heartwarming, charming, and sensual, this story also tackles the serious issue of foster care with sensitivity and insight, and while the outcome is never really in doubt, the larger issues still linger. A hero with a lot to learn, a heroine who never gives up, and a pair of very likable children combine with great dialog and a sprinkling of humor to produce an emotionally involving, rewarding story that series fans are sure to enjoy.
