Sabrina and Daphne Grimm have studied hundreds of stories as part of their training as fairy-tale detectives, but they never thought they'd actually be in one.
And yet, that's exactly what happens when they follow the diabolical Master into the Book of Everafter, a mysterious tome in which copies of the world's fairy-tale characters live out their stories over and over again. The Grimms must track down the Master while avoiding the Book's tyrannical
Editor—who is devoted to keeping the stories on track—and his army of story-gobbling revisers. In the Book of Everafter, stories can be rewritten and destinies changed, which is why Sabrina and Daphne must find the Master before he can alter his own fate—and the fate of the whole world.
The beloved Sisters Grimm series is the perfect opportunity for existing fans to revisit the adventures of the Grimm family and for new readers to discover the magic of the series for the first time.

Gr 4-6-In their eighth adventure (Amulet Books, 2010) in the series by Michael Buckley, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm and their sidekick, Puck, are stuck in the mystical Book of Everafter. While trying to locate their brother, the trio enter a wide variety of classical fairy tales (The Wizard of Oz, The Jungle Book, The Seven Swans, The Headless Horseman, and others) and are warned not to change the story in anyway or face grave danger. The Revisers ("the Guardian of the Stories") attack them from all directions when the three stray from the written tale. However, Sabrina and Daphne are willing to do just about anything to save their brother. L. J. Ganser has narrated all the books in the series. While at the beginning of the book Ganser's voice might seem to be an unlikely choice for the two girls, he maintains the attention of listeners and the intrigue of the tale throughout. A recommended addition for libraries that already have the other titles in the series and/or for libraries with large audio collections.-Amy Olson, formerly Lexington Pubic Library, KY
