Kendrick (Her Christmas Baby Confession) opens her most recent novel in a delightful and surprising way. Mia is relaxing in her tiny one-room house when she answers a knock at the door. Imagine her surprise to find her one-time husband Theodoros Aeton standing on the other side--looking so smug, yet delectably delicious. Having never consummated their marriage six years ago, this is only one of the many obstacles they have to overcome if they want to make this marriage real.
