Cornelison brings readers back to Cameron Glen in her latest, after Kidnapping in Cameron Glen. While participating in a search-and-rescue mission, a landslide traps volunteer firefighter Brody Cameron and nurse Anya Patel in the subterranean lair of a serial killer. Their struggle to survive brings them close, but once they are rescued from the pit, they begin to doubt their connection. When the killer himself starts stalking Anya, however, Brody soon discovers he'll do whatever he can to keep her safe, no matter what. This is an enjoyable, character-driven read, although there are occasional logic-defying leaps during the suspense portions of the story. VERDICT Readers of the "Cameron Glen" series won't want to miss this one.--Rebecca Moe
