This duet of Christmas Regency romances is brimming with holiday cheer. Both stories feature medical professionals--doctors and nurses, some of whom served as medics during the Crimean War--and are steeped in the importance of serving others. In "The Lady's Yuletide Wish," Kaye (Lady Armstrong's Scandalous Awakening) brings together Isabella and Eugene, former lovers torn apart by separate life paths. The story is richly detailed and full of delicious banter, perfect for holiday reading. "Dr. Peverett's Christmas Miracle" by Scott (The Bluestocking's Whirlwind Liaison) focuses on how people change depending on their surroundings, with Honoria seeing William in a new light at his family's Christmas celebration.
