Teresa Rodriguez is proud of the racing stable she owns on her own, without any help from her family. Not only are some of the horses valuable, but one in particular is her friend and confidante. When someone tries to poison that horse and shoots at her stables, she loses her cool and asks her best friend, Mia, for help. Mia and her brother run the South Beach Security company and agree to offer protection. Matt Perez, a South Beach Security K-9 agent, is drawn to the pretty stable owner but has major issues when it comes to rich people. If he can get past his pre-conceived notions and see Teresa for who she really is, the two might just be able to build a life together.
